“Make sure that you follow the voltage/wattage/temperature setting as recommended by the manufacturer of the cartridge and the concentrate.” “Oftentimes, the reason why your vape cartridge isn't producing vapor can be related to your voltage/wattage/temperature setting,” explained Peki. How to troubleshoot when your cartridge has no airflowĪccording to Peki, begin troubleshooting by first ensuring that the problem is, in fact, an airflow problem. The fix: Screw your cartridge back onto the vape battery gently. “When airflow holes are located in the threading area, you can't screw the cartridge too tight,” said Peki. Twisting the vape cartridge too tightįilling the cart then over-zealously twisting it closed can block off the airflow holes. ![]() Inhale gently, and let the wicks on the coil do the heavy lifting. The fix: Inhaling too hard can encourage flooding, which can lead to leakage and airflow problems. When the vape pen is being used, the airflow holes should be open enough that you can inhale with ease, without having to pull air in forcefully. When you're filling a vape pen cartridge, the airflow holes must be completely closed. Getting the airflow setting right is key to ensuring your oil flows freely. Avoid leaving the device for too long without using it. The fix: Avoid overfilling the cart (you'll know when you've done this as “spitback” occurs when the cart has been overfilled and hot droplets shoot out). Try gently using a safety pin or similar item around the mouthpiece to test if there is something hindering airflow, and see if you can manually dislodge it. If the airflow holes aren't the source of the clog, there could be something blocking the mouthpiece. “Important note, though: with disposable vape pen/cart combinations, this isn't always easy because the cartridge doesn't come off unless you use some tools to tinker with it.” “A simple way to fix this is by removing the cartridge from the vape pen, getting a needle, and simply gently poking the needle through the airflow holes until the oily residue is gone,” advised Peki. Vape pen cartridges can become clogged when the tiny airflow holes get blocked with oily residue after use, according to Winston Peki, editor of product-review site Herbonaut. ![]() If the light is on but no-one is home (i.e., air isn't flowing freely from your vape), several causes could be responsible. Heard that Uber works well in SP, but we didn't try it. I like knowing that there are regular stores nearby - supermarket and pharmacies (the nail polish one :) are less than a block away, on Liteyny Prospekt. 10-15 minute walk or cab ride to most of sights, although area has its own attractions - Summer Gardens, Trinity Church, and Russian Museum. Manicure looked perfect for two weeks! Hotel in 'historical center' but is off main drag. Decided to get a manicure - nail salon didn't really have non-gel colors, so walked half a block to pharmacy, bought polish, and we used that. I saw some disgruntled comments in reviews about the breakfast and not sure what about? Used the gym (not pool, though) twice - clean - yoga mats, weights, machines. Only meal we had in hotel was breakfast and that was good, lots of variety. Not a fan of hotel wall-to-wall carpeting, and I love that Indigo has hardwood floors and area rugs. We had a Superior room on floor 4 - photos att. Give this woman a raise!!! Other housekeeping staff was also great. She really takes pride in the hotel, has can-do attitude, and understands client service. ![]() Right on the spot, she came to our room and removed it. She explained that the beds have very thick, removable pillow-tops. On day 1, we were thinking of switching hotels because of our way-too-soft bed, and bumped into Tatiana in the lobby on our way out - and told her about our dilemma. Particular praise for Tatiana from Housekeeping. This new hotel (opened 2 years ago) is squeaky-clean, with great staff, eager to serve without being servile. Had stayed in Nashville Indigo and loved the SP version even more. If you found my review helpful, I would appreciate your vote. All told a great hotel, just be sure to sign up for Uber first, or be a keen walker. Service was very friendly, especially the front desk. I measured 30Mbps up and download in the lobby. Tip: you can order latte, espresso etc for no extra cost. Breakfast selection was very good, with a little variety each day. The mini-bar with basic items (water, OJ, a beer) is included in the rate and was handy since we took drinks with us every day. It was very spacious with a huge bathroom with two sinks and a (you guessed it, large) walk-in rainfall shower. We had a superior room on the top floor with a small roof terrace and great views. So add 12 USD to your nightly rate and you have a great hotel with a personalised limo service at your beck and call. We solved this by using Uber which even for an Uber Black (Audi A6, BMW 5 series etc) was only 390 RUB (just over 5 EUR or about 6 USD) one way for such distances. I've decided not to hold the location against the hotel, because that is not something they can change! Just be aware before you book that the walk to Palace Square or Nevsky is about 25 mins and the nearest metro station is not really helpful since the line heads North/South. ![]() We are excited to announce our new host and mentor very soon.”Īlso Read: 'Project Runway' to Return to Bravo “The series will continue its iconic impact with Bravo’s reboot for the next generation of designers and fans. “Bravo is proud to bring ‘Project Runway’ back where it all began, and Heidi and Tim will always be a huge part of the legacy,” Bravo said in a statement to TheWrap. The fast and asymmetrical pulse of “Blue Rondo a la Turk,” the opening track, bore traces of Balkan and Turkish influence. The impetus for the rhythms of Time Out came in part from Western classical music, in part from the band’s travels in India, the Middle East, and elsewhere. If you’re vegan and you’ve ever been served an iceberg lettuce salad with a few shreds of carrot as your entire meal, you may have wanted to ask the chef, “Would you be full on this?”īecause while a lettuce salad with balsamic vinaigrette can do in a pinch, there are much more interesting, satisfying, and filling ways to get your greens in. Restaurant salads are often covered in fried meats, shreds of dairy-based cheese, and smothered in ranch dressing. I think the reason for this is that most non-vegan restaurants think of the animal products as the main event. However, the thing that’s missing with most restaurant salads is a “main event.” At home, we have salads multiple times a week. It’s not because we don’t like fresh, delicious greens. In other words, when it comes to online robo-casting services, it often comes down to who will do the voice over job for the least amount of money. Online undirected robo-casting attracts thousands of unqualified candidates and pits talent against each other in open-market bidding for the job. The advent of robotic online casting services has no human touch! Missing are: strategic and curated casting, along with auditions directed by a human. And yes, you can audition and work in your pajamas! The upside to self-directing: saving travel time, gas and parking money. Which is why a strong VO acting skill set, along with improvisational skills are needed for the confidence and positive self-belief required for the nature of this business. The VO auditioning process has become mostly self-directing, followed by no feedback for the actor, unless they book it. These days, like many other vocations out there, there is less human contact in the voice over industry. How has the VO business changed, in general and for K&K in the last few years? And then there’s the joy and gratification of matching an actor’s truth with the truth in the role. To know their essence is like discovering gold. I’m blown away by getting to know talent by their honest self-expression. I am inspired by the courage and vulnerability that it takes for VO actors to be authentically responsive.
